Drum Spigot Filttreation System

The DSFS is designed to filter ferrous contamination to sub micron levels from new lube oils and other fluids contained in storage drums. This will dramatically improve the quality of the fluids introduced into your systems. These contaminants are suspended in the oil or fluids as a result of erosion and corrosion of pipeline, storage reservoirs during the manufacturing and transportation process. Inefficient reservoir air breathers are another source.


Filtration is realized through our powerful magnetic filter designed to remove the ferrous contamination with minimal flow restriction. Cleaning the magnetic filter is simply executed by wiping it with a cloth. This system is available in multiple sizes, please specify drum outlet size.

 
 
Magnetif Lift
The Mag-Lift tool has a holding strength of 26 lbs (12Kg) and is used for extracting pistons from pumps and other ferrous parts during tear down of equipment and assist in the rebuild by replacing parts. Available in custom sizes and handle lengths.
 
 
Magnetic Sweeper

The magnetic sweeper is a tool with numerous applications. Designed with a flexible handle attached to a raised magnetic filter rod this tool is used for cleaning new hydraulic fluid, lube oil, water, coolant and chemicals stored steel reservoirs of welding and grinding slag.


Other applications are: cleaning open bearing lube oil reservoirs, cleaning the bottom reservoirs of all manner of milling and C&C machines. Extracting ferrous contaminants to sub micron levels from fluids contained in storage reservoirs.


Designed to be used like a broom with a flexible long reach handle it cleans work area floors and tables and hard to reach areas under equipment and more. Cleaning the magnetic filter is simply executed by wiping it with a cloth.

 
 
Yard-Master

The “Yard-Master” handles the toughest scrap metal problems and reduces costly tire damage & personal injury. Designed with OEI’s patented magnetic technology that allows the magnetic sweeper to float over the ground while keeping constant contact with the ground extracting debris such as nails, screws, staples, banding, iron chips under the ground surface that become exposed under the pressure of a tire.


The Yard-Master is constructed with high quality air filled 6” tires for ease of manoeuvring, available in 3 lengths 12” for shop, 32” for shop or small yards and 42” and custom sizes for yard use. The magnetic sweeper is easily removed from the carrier for cleaning, simply place over a refuge receptacle and wipe clean with a heavy cloth or gloved hand.

 
 
Magnetic Filter

One Eye Industries is pleased to announce an innovative way to filter the contamination in the Komatsu 830E & GE 787 wheel motors. This magnetic filter design offers a multipurpose; first it acts a level monitor for the oil, second as a filter to remove the most damaging contaminant “ferrous metal” to submicron levels. The third is a predictive maintenance tool, simply remove the trapped contamination and send it away to a lab for analysis.


The test will identify premature wear patterns of the components and allow predictive maintenance scheduling. The adjacent photo shows this magnetic filter is designed with our new 3/4” diameter magnetic filter projecting multiple 4” radial fields. This design is multipurpose; first it acts a level monitor for the oil, second as a filter to remove the most damaging contaminant “ferrous metal” to submicron levels, third capable of extracting an oil sample without removing the filler cap reducing the opportunity for foreign materials to enter. The fourth is a predictive maintenance tool, simply remove the trapped contamination from the magnetic filter and send it away to a lab for analysis.


The test will identify premature wear patterns of the components and allow predictive maintenance scheduling. The adjacent photos shows the magnetic filter is designed with a 1/2” diameter projecting multiple 3” radial fields. A dip stick and a sampling port (SMK20) have been installed to aid in the preventative maintenance of this unit.

 
 
Viscous Fluid Transfer Filtering System 8TMF22

The VFTFS filtration system is designed to filter ferrous contaminants to sub micron levels from used heavy open gear oil thereby allowing two or more cycles of use. This will dramatically reduce consumption and cost with the added benefit of reducing your environmental footprint.


Filtration is realized after the heavy lube oil is heated (cSt @ 40C=1740) and pumped from the drum through our powerful magnetic filter and into a clean drum for reuse. This process allows for over 95% of the used oil to be recovered for reuse. The magnetic filter is designed to remove the ferrous contamination with minimal flow restriction. Cleaning the magnetic filter element is simply executed by wiping it with a cloth.


The system employs a pneumatic pump mounted with a follower plate that forces the heated oil out of the drum through the filter and into the clean oil drum. This system is suitable for a drum lid diameter between 21" to 23.8", follower plate suitable for drum dia. between 21.8" to 22.8" and ancillary fittings.

The OEI magnetic filter is designed to replace the ceramic OEM magnetic filtration technology.


OEI’s powerful rare earth magnetic fields dramatically improve filtration of ferrous contamination to sub-micron levels.
